Constructed in 1924 by the Poudre Valley School District, this historic building originally served as a high school for the City of Fort Collins. Showcasing classic and colonial revival style, it was designated a local historic landmark in 1994. Colorado State University purchased the facility in 1997, and plans extensive renovations to convert it into the University Center for the Arts. This proposed facility would house the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance, Department of Art, a Visual Arts Gallery, the Natural History Center, the Department of Design and Merchandising, as well as the College of Applied Human Sciences and University Relations.

Current information about the University Center for the Arts that will be located in the OFCHS.
