The Physiology
Building, which was constructed in 1967, serves as home to the Department
of Biomedical Sciences, as well as offices and research laboratories
for the department of Environmental
Health and Radiological Sciences, the Department
of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology and the CVMBS
Dean's Office and
Development Office.
This facility also features a hypo/hyperbaric chamber, which simulates
altitudes of up to 35,000 feet and depths of 150 feet below sea
level for physiological response research and instrument and equipment
testing.
