The Weber Building, constructed in 1922, was named for Louis R. Weber, who headed the Physics Department for thirty years. This facility was originally called the New Chemistry Building, replacing one that had burned down in 1921. Weber rims the western side of the Oval and is home to the Department of Mathematics, the PACe Program, and an open computer lab for student use.
